User Intensity Rank
User Intensity Rank
A score of 0-5 indicating a user’s shopping intensity on the network.
A rank of 0 indicates no shopping activity within the last 30 days. A rank from 1-5 indicates shopping activity in the last 30 days with 1 indicating the least intense behavior and 5 indicating the most intense behavior.
Some information on the specific algorithm used to determine user intensity rank is based on information that includes:
- days in market
- shopping periods
- vehicles viewed
Use Case
Use case would be to identify and engage consumers who are actually in-market shopping for their next vehicle purchase along their shopping journey.
Agencies have applied this field to specific levels of engagement – lower number may present “why buy” content in their messaging while higher numbers may be closer to a purchase so the messaging is modified to push them over the finish line (containing non-generic / specific vehicle offers from that dealership).
